Wedding and Portrait Photography in the Lehigh Valley area
I love stunning weddings albums and wall portraits. I am not be the cheapest but I am not the most expensive.. I do weddings for couples who want unparalleled results. Photos that are candid and emotional. I take part in a wedding day in a memorable way, then put together a story that is unforgettable.
Some photographers feel the need to create special moments. My belief
is those moments are not mine to create. The moments are yours and it
is my passion to capture them as they unfold through out the day..
Whatever style appeals to you, hire a photographer who feels passionate about what they do and has the experience and service to back it up.
My wife is my partner in life and my partner in photography. This means you will have TWO photographers for your special day.
I am available to photograph weddings, events and senior portraits in Lehigh Valley Pa area. I will travel in the Tri-state area.
We had a great turn out in Easton and I wanted to thank all of the photographer who participated in the photowalk. A special thanks to Scott Kelby the creator of the photowalk. I was a hot day but we had a lot of fun !!!
A thanks to Genesis Bicycles in Easton PA. They asked one of their Saturday morning rides to ride by a few times for a photo opportunity for our group.
I also wanted to thanks the Film Photography Podcast and the Pink Delicates. The Pink Delicates recorded the Sounds track for Splatter Beach and graciously allowed me to use one of their songs for the slide show below:
I’m excited to announce that I will be leading the Easton area photowalk. This year I’ll be taking my group on a photowalk of the downtown Easton area and walking across the Delaware Bridge into New Jersey !!! The fine folks at Genesis Bicycles are routing one of their early morning rides through the downtown area.
It’s not about what you see,it’s about what you do not see. This image was taken with my 70 to 200 zoom and it was racked out to 200 at F4. It was taken at probably one of the worst locations possible !!!! There was a major highway right behind the couple. Using an upward angle, I was able to use the tree across the street as an interesting backdrop for this lovely couple.
It’s not about what you see. It is also about what you do not see. A methodical pose with strong diagonal lines. Simplicity and shadows work to tell the story.
First, Thank you Ed for having me as your first guest blogger! I sincerely appreciate the opportunity.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Valerie (of course) and among a few other things I am a 100% self-taught budding on-location photographer specializing in natural light portraiture and events.
My photographic style could be described as creative, real-life, candid, and photojournalistic. My interests range from weddings and family portraits to still life and pin-up portraits and I strive to capture the most ordinary objects and the most dynamic personalities.
For every photo session I have two goals, the first is to tell my clients story and the second is to look at every object or person from more than one perspective. Every photo session is a challenge and despite the hours I spend with clients and photos a week I refuse to use the term ‘job’ or ‘career’ when speaking of my photography passion because I never want to lose sight of why I do what I do.
I’ve always considered myself creative but I first picked up a camera for client purposes in April of last year and in May I photographed my first wedding. The newlyweds were such an amazing couple to work with and the photo featured here shows just how fun they are. I love how natural, fun, and unique the photo is. I nearly burst into laughter everytime I look at it!
And as a final thought, I should have discovered my passion for photography much earlier because I had often remarked to friends and family, “sometimes I wish my eyes were a camera, so I could capture all of the beauty I see.”
This image was taken at the Allentown Rose garden on Vanessa’s wedding date. I used pastel colors to portray a softness.
What a lovely bride and what a beautiful wedding.
What a blast it was working with Norman and Laura. 91 sweltering degrees at the end of the day. An fun couple and we were able to capture these great images for their engagement.
What is better than one band on a Saturday night? Two bands !!!! I had the pleasure to listen to foreplay on Saturday and I can they you that this band know how to play some solid tunes. Vocally and instrumentally a very talented group of artists.
June 17, 2010 - 4:11 amlesaboots@yahoo.com - what cannon do u have??? and where do u do ur photography at??? just now getting in the bess. love ur work I'm getting cannon 40D
Is there really a better way to spend a Saturday night than listening to music. I don’t think so…Especially when you have the opportunity to listen and watch some VERY talented young music artists. If you have not seen Peacekeeper..WHAT ARE YOU WAiTING FOR !!!!
This is my second time seeing the band and I came prepared with my radio triggers-remote flash and colored gels to add a bit of drama.
I was able to fire the flash though a glass window and was hoping I did not bother the bands focus.
The lead off song was purple haze sooooo why not add some purple gels..Well it is only logical you know.
Kudos to Rockin Joe’s.. The food and cappuccino is always stellar !!!
